June has taught group fitness for over 19 years at YMCA's, and as well as the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, USF Botanical Gardens, national and international corporations, rotaries, clubs, businesses, churches, private and special events.
June appears regularly on globally syndicated, "BLOOM" Tampa Bay's premier Health and Welllness Show. June was awarded WFLA News Channel 8 title of "A Great Inspiration!" recognized by the Tampa Bay Times for "People with Style" and one of 3 finalists in both the 2016 and 2017 Salt & Pepper Awards given by the Senior Connection Center of Tampa, Florida. June is instructor for the International Council of Active Aging, AFAA-Aerobic and Fitness Association of America, Silver Sneakers, Osher Life Long Learning Institute, SCW- Sara's City Workout, and a Professional Member and Scholar of the National Fitness Hall of Fame, Friends of the Florida Orchestra, Visit Tampa Bay, and the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce. |
June’s book, “Tips by Kittay” was published in 2007. Her wellness articles have appeared in health and fitness magazines and newspapers both locally and nationally. She is often heard on local and national health radio shows. Her message, professed since 2004, is simple, "Keep on Movin!”
With a BS in Education from State University of New York College at Buffalo and former elementary teacher, June continues her mission to help educate, inspire and motivate everyone she meets, encouraging all to live a healthy, active and engaged life. June practices what she preaches; instilling in others the value of exercise. |
