June Kittay, CEO, Tampa Bay Bodies

June is a Fitness Professional, Author, Writer, Entertainer & Keynote Speaker on Health and Wellness; as well as a highly sought after Active Aging Fitness Instructor, specializing in Line Dance, Yoga Stretch and Active Aging Fitness Activities designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Her well known "Boomba Fitness" and "Emerging thru Movement" programs are just a few of the custom courses she’s designed for company, organizations and events, created to motivate, educate, energize and entertain.
June has been working nationally with AARP for 9 years and has created and co-instructed Fitness Programs for their National AARP Conventions, has appeared onstage and television with Martina Navratilova, Jack LaLanne, Richard Simmons, Forbes Riley, and host of Daytime, Cindy Edwards. She has taught group fitness for over 17 years at YMCA's, and as well as the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, USF Botanical Gardens, national and international corporations, rotaries, clubs, businesses, churches, private and special events.
Recently June conducted a series of national Zoom Line Dance presentations for AARP with Bob Klubek, "songsmith" and master pianist and both were featured on "Bloom", NBC News Channel 8, Health and Wellness Show. June was awarded WFLA News Channel 8 title of "A Great Inspiration!" was and one of 3 finalists in both the 2016 and 2017 Salt & Pepper Awards given by the Senior Connection Center of Tampa, Florida, is a member of the International Council of Active Aging, Leading Ladies of Tampa Bay, and Working Women. June is a National Fitness Hall of Fame Scholar and won Ms. Florida Senior America 2012 Fan Favorite. She is an ambassador and longtime member of Visit Tampa Bay, and a commercial actor/lifestyle model regularly appearing on television and health and wellness infomercials and commercials. June was a semi-finalist in the Bright Stars Network Senior Talent Show, awarded Toastmasters International Competent Communicator, past Healthy Heroes Nominee for Workplace Fitness, a 10 year participant in the National Weight Control Registry, and was listed in Tampa Bay's Best Magazine for "People with Style!"
June’s book, “Tips by Kittay” was published in 2007. Her wellness articles have appeared in health and fitness magazines and newspapers both locally and nationally. She is often heard on local and national health radio shows. Her message, professed since 2004, is simple, "Keep on Movin!”
With a Bachelor of Science in Education from State University of New York College at Buffalo and former elementary teacher, June continues her mission to help educate, inspire and motivate everyone she meets, encouraging all to live a healthy, active and engaged life.
June practices what she preaches; instilling in others the value of exercise.
June’s Philosophy of Life is simple:
Eat real food. Go outside and play. Hang around with the right people in the right places. Say your prayers. Get plenty of sleep. “You can't fool Mother Nature!”
