The First Step....
Emerging thru Movement is a fun, easy and effective cardiovascular program created to increase strength, flexibility, balance and body awareness. This program is based on the premise that the body is a system of wheels within wheels and specifically designed to stimulate the lymphatic system to remove toxins and energize the body.
Lower back pain is often attributed to poor posture, stress and decreased flexibility. Movements are designed to stretch and strengthen the core, the primary stabilizer of the spine. Stability can be improved thru balance exercises. Special attention is give to the foot and ankle to strengthen those muscles that help prevent fractures and falls. Strength training and range of motion are important for functional living, which is also specifically addressed in the program. Eastern and Western philosophies of movement optimize peace and tranquility. Slow gentle movements relax and rejuvenate the mind, body and spirit. Deep breathing is essential and frequently addressed. The program incorporates techniques of Tai-Chi and Qi Gong as its method of relaxation and de-stressing the body. June also specializes in Christian Fitness. For success and renewed energy, Emerging thru Movement is designed to address Cardiovascular Endurance, Muscular Strength and Endurance, Flexibility, Coordination, Power, Agility and Balance; seven of the ten components of fitness. The final segment is designed to engage the body in a slow, controlled, total body stretch and connect with nature and the spirit to renew the student’s “Zest for Life.” |

Boomba Fitness ™ targets Baby Boomers 45+ years old, who want to get in shape, and have a desire to share their wit,wisdom and love of travel. Brain Fitness at its best! It also provides for an interactive exchange of ideas, memory recall, listening skills, verbalization, and community building. This type of interactive participation encourages confidence and creativity, builds friendships, creates feelings of connection, and rekindles the art of conversation which leads to a renewed “Zest for Life”! Finally, this people oriented program creates a safe way for social networking among peers. It develops trust, team building within groups, explores current events and oral history through a “living library”. Information will be gathered and exchanged regarding history, geography, diet and fitness trends resulting in everyday behavioral modification for healthy living. Using unique inexpensive tools, June created an innovative comprehensive interactive program that can be used as an inter-generational as well as a peer program in schools, independent and assisted living facilities, resorts, cruises or corporate venues rekindling the vanishing art of conversation.
